The Mad Scene

This will not be news to some of you, but to others it will. Along with Simon, whom you may know from the comments section/Twitter/the Brittensphere, I've started a Facebook group dedicated to spreading Sydney opera madness. Which is to say, a nice, shiny Web 2.0-type forum for passionate operagoers — and casual attendees — in Sydney and further afield to share and spread our fanaticism. It's called The Mad Scene, and you can join in the fun here. Share your thoughts, opinions, photos, experiences and everything else; feel free to start up a discussion topic or post an event; invite your friends/acquaintances/mortal enemies; and as our membership grows (35 in two days is a promising start!) so too, I hope, will the fabulous insanity. Who knows, we might even start a claque or two.
